1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Crossed Quest ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

Crossed Quest is a collaborative word-placement game. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to abuse, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service.

3. User Content

Words and clues you contribute become part of the shared game lattice. By contributing, you grant Genoworks a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display your contributions within the Service. You retain ownership of any original creative content you submit.

4. Third-Party Sign-In

You may optionally sign in using Google OAuth. By doing so you also agree to Google's Terms of Service. Genoworks receives only a pseudonymous identifier from Google and does not receive your name, email address, or any other Google account data.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to submit offensive, defamatory, or unlawful content, attempt to manipulate scores or attribution, or interfere with other users' experience.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Genoworks does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the permanent retention of game data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Genoworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
